Another returning family to the Portrait Blitz. The last time we met up with them though, they didn't have their newest addition! We were so happy to meet the little fella. He did great during the session and it is clear that his big sister loves him.
It is also clear that she loves their dog - but we're glad for that, as always, since their snuggling makes for great photos!

Lindsay and the family joined us a few years ago for a blitz session and decided it was time to update their photo album. We were so glad to see them again.
The one challenge with their session is that their youngest had JUST lost a tooth the night before and was very self-conscious about his smile and tried to hide from the camera as much as possible. It took us a little bit, but we got him to let his guard down!

We had a few baby-on-board sessions during this blitz. Lisa and her husband were BEAMING during their time with us and we just kept clicking photos of this adorable duo.
They welcomed their son Maxwell to the world just last week. We're so happy for them!!!

Another first time blitzer, the Walsh's were the last session of the day, and did we ever have a good time. At first, we did run into a little camera shyness from the little ones but tickles and tosses in the air and they really warmed up. So much so that the "posing" broke out and almost couldn't be stopped.

We love the fact that during this blitz, we had 3 former wedding couples return with their budding or soon to be budding families. For the Day family, their return in front of the lens was overtaken by the newest addition to the family. This little dude stole the show.
I don't think I've ever seen such a camera cool kid. Every time we were ready for a shot, this little man would whip his head around with the biggest smile. Can't wait to see this kid grow up.
While it's always awesome to see some of our favourite clients at each of our blitzes, it is also nice to meet some new faces. Shereka and her crew found us through a referral and we couldn't have been happier spending some time with them.
A lot of laughs were had as we toured the Le Marchand Manor capturing this family in a moment in time. Hope to see you all again soon!
Another family that we have seen blitz after blitz. Now there are four and things are looking pretty great. They were all smiles during the session as we ran around the manor finding cool angles in which to take pictures.
We hope to see you four for many more sessions to come.

In October, we had the pleasure of shooting this awesome growing family days before their newest addition join the group. We headed out to the Edmonton River Valley for a walk and shoot. Little V ran around picking up everything he could find, sliding down snow banks, and laughing the whole time.
This type of shoot shows Edmonton at it's best. Hope you dig it too.
Our last post of the September photo blitz showcases a new client. We loved meeting these 4. The little man comes equipped with his own Instagram profile so he was a natural in front of the camera.

Since the first time we worked with Brandon and Shelby for their engagement session, and then through to their wedding, we have always looked forward to the next opportunity to work with these two.
Fast forward a few years, and two have become three. We were so happy to meet their little man. He was a trooper. Just so adorable. Can't wait to work with this family for years to come.
We met Christina several years ago as part of a bridal party. For this session, we got to meet three generations of awesome ladies and spent most of the time laughing. What a fun group and I love how much that comes across in the photos.

Anytime we host a blitz, these guys are one of the first to sign up and we love them for it. Man, these kids have grown. They also both have such awesome blue eyes, that they are a joy to photograph.
We have such a great time working with this wonderful family. Can't wait till next time.
This was our first outing with this lovely group and we had a great time. As I reflect on this shoot, the phrase, "Bow side out!" keeps coming to mind. I believe we have a model in the making.
We are so happy with how these photos turned out. Hopefully we get the chance to work with them again.
You may remember this gang from a few years ago when they were only 3. Now a new one has joined the bunch. We headed down to the Federal Building at the Alberta Legislature which offers such an awesome variety of backdrops for a photo session.
The sun was shining and so were the girls. Check out the shots we got on that beautiful day.
It is always fantastic to catch up with a family as they grow. When we first worked with these three, it was a few weeks after Violet was born.
Now she is running around and exploring like you wouldn't believe. One of the great things about this session was that we the entire shoot was shot in the small park behind their house. It is always so cool to have the location have a connection to the family.
