Bust 'Em Up Burlesque

Send in the Girls Burlesque has hit the big time!

Their new show, Bust 'Em Up Burlesque is opening tonight at the Citadel Theatre. We were so happy to be working with them to build promotional images for the fourth time.

For this shoot, we broke away from tradition where we shoot against a black wall, and went out into the real world. We first went to a house with an awesome claw bathtub, then headed over to the Mercer Tavern for the remainder of the session.

The Mercer was such a great fit because it has an actual large safe built right into the wall which fit perfectly with the 1920s bank robber setting of the show.

We will be there tonight for their opening. Can't wait to see it. You should see it too.

This is the little known story of the Forty Elephants, a girl- gang of jazz follies in 1920s London who looked like heaven but raised hell. It’s true crime meets striptease with some bad ass flapper feminism thrown in for good measure...
