Cassie & Drew's New Addition!

We photographed Cassie & Drew’s wedding last year and had a fantastic time! They are one of our absolute favourite couples. So we were thrilled to hear the news that they had recently added a member to their family.

Their daughter was born at the end of June and at the time of our session was just about a month old. Apart from a few crying moments, she did great! We love holding newborn sessions in the family’s own home. We feel it makes it more personal. The great light coming into Cassie & Drew’s bedroom made for a perfect setting for the bulk of the photos.

Congrats Cassie & Drew, we are so happy to see how your little girl has brightened your lives.

Will

I am just honoured to have photographed this new family. Matt and Jenn are long time friends and you could see the pride they have over their little guy. I can't get over how cute this tiny dude is.

It stopped raining just in time for us to dress him up and head outside. He was such a trooper.

Check him out everyone!

Meet Will.

Ethan

So lucky to be the one who gets to take photos of this little dude. Such a cute little man.  Amber and Bing were mine and Brad's first wedding as dbphotographics.ca. Now we get to shoot the next stage in their lives.

Amber shares a job with us in our corporate world. We miss having her around, but to see the joy in her eyes when she looked at Ethan, well we can't blame her for wanting to spend every moment with him.

This is our favourite kind of new born session, in the warmth of the family home. Amongst his new things. In his new room. With his new sister, Mika the dog.

Check it out!

Cake Smash

Conor is already one. Time sure flies!

He came to our house so smartly dressed for this party. Just about a three piece suit. So much so that I think given the right business card, he may already be selling you real estate!

Then the cake came out. Goodbye clean suit. Hello tears!

He got into it a first but then the time of night kicked in (alng with all the people watching and giggling at his every move) and the waterworks came. Selfishly, the shots with the the tears always seem to be the best ones from these shoots.

I leave it to you to decide! Check out the Portraits section of the page to see others of these types of photos.
