It's Love and Other Reasons to Panic

This was such a fun session. We spent a lot of time with Elisa and Delia trying to nail the tone of their upcoming show, It's Love and Other Reasons to Panic premiering this week at the Edmonton Fringe festival. We love how this turned out and would also love if you went to see them in action.

Here are the show details:

Victoria and Rachel are an unlikely pair, and when they meet it's not exactly love at first sight. Victoria, not feeling completely fulfilled, leaves her relationship of 7 years to rediscover who she is and find her confidence. Rachel is a powerhouse with a bit of a clumsy side perfectly happy with being on her own and in control of her own life. But when Rachel meets the man of her dreams, these ladies lives will take a very different turn; especially since Rachel's new love interest, is Victoria's ex-fiancée. They say opposites attract, but will their new friendship survive being this opposite? Come and have a laugh while these two ladies try and figure out what love means.

A New Brain at the Edmonton Fringe

We love Plain Jane Theatre. They always come to us with fantastic design requests, and this Fringe is no different.

This show looks incredible. You should check it out.

Here are the show details:

Plain Jane Theatre presents 'A New Brain' by William Finn and James Lapine at this year's Edmonton Fringe Festival.
It's our 6th year at the Fringe and we are thrilled to have this amazing company of artists bringing Mr. Finn's powerful and witty autobiographical musical to life.
Gordon, a composer, falls into his ziti and finds his life suddenly interrupted by a life-threatening brain illness. His best friend, lover, mother, doctor and Mr. Bungee, a frog kiddie show host, guide Gordon through a psychological fantasia where he finds the healing power of art.
Starring Garett Ross, Jocelyn Ahlf, Jenna Dykes-Busby, Orville Charles Cameron, Cathy Derkach, Paul Morgan-Donald, Jason Hardwick, Andrew MacDonald-Smith and Jenny McKillop.
Directed by Kate Ryan, Music Direction by Shannon Hiebert, Choreography by Jason Hardwick and Stage Managed by Elizabeth Allison.

Princess Confidential: A Familiar Melody

We are so excited to be working with Promise Productions again, this time on the sequel to a design we did a few years ago. If you have little ones, I highly encourage you to bring them to the Fringe and check out Princess Confidential: A Familiar Melody.

Here are the show details:

Princess Confidential: Familiar Melody is much anticipated sequel to Promise Productions' 2013 Sterling nominated Fringe hit, Princess Confidential. This film noir fairy tale is sure to thrill ages 6 to 106, and audiences don’t need to have seen part one to catch this caper!
